Hop Bag

For a free hop bag.... go to the shoe warehouse places, like Discount Shoe Warehouse, or maybe some other mega shoe retailer in your area, and look for those throw away socks/stocking footies they have there so you can try on shoes without your socks.
These are small nylon looking, socks. Very stretchy. If you snaffle a few, take them home, wash and boil, then dry- viola' a hop bag. Load that sucker up, tie a knot- there you go.

this sounds pretty gross. i'd rather have something that had not been slipped onto 329 different sweaty feet in my beer. that kind of just helps me relax, and not worry, and thats just the name of the game. |

Not to worry. These try-on socks are merely shortened versions of women's pantyhose. If you are worried about 300 stranger's foot fungus, force yourself through the embarassment of it, head to the local drug store and buy some regular pantyhose and cut it to size. You should have plenty of leftovers for numerous batches. I've been quite successful with this technique. |

Sorry, I was not too clear... these little nylon footies are dispensed -new- like in a box of facial tissue. You do not pick them up off the floor- use the new ones! |

Try using two round coffee filters. Simply fill with hops and staples around the edges. Works evry time and no smelly foot odor! |

I use 'paint strainer' bags. They are large enough for several ounces of pellet hops. Any store that sells paint usually sells them. |

I just got knee-hi nylons at the dollar store...6 pairs for $1. Twelve hops bags, no cutting. and they are bigger than the freebie "who are these fooling" fake sock things too. |
