| I've had some success by using Malta Goya as a yeast starter. It's dark and I only use about 150 ml for 5 gal. batch, so I havn't noticed any negative impact on the beer. It's nothing more than bottled wort. You can find it in your local grocery store, usually in the ethnic food section. | |
