Mini Interview |
|
| My first homebrew... | imperial ipa, ~100IBU, total kitchen explosion. |
| Homebrewing Story... | the usual "thought an airlock would suffice." brewed an oatmeal stout, used a WLP004 irish ale starter. had good fermentation activity the next morning, 5" tall kraeusen. i ran an errand, came back a couple hours later. kraeusen was clogging up the airlock. i then pulled the stopper out. i've never seen wort shoot that high (yes, some of it even made it up to the ceiling). that yeast was sick... the stuff dried up to the consistency of play-doh. |
| 3 favorite beers | bell's expedition stout, rogue mocha porter, virgil's root beer, victory golden monkey oops, that's four. ask me tomorrow and you'll get four different ones. |
| Why I homebrew... | do-it-yourself is not merely my philosophy; it's my ethos. |
| Brewing Accomplishments | I have one of the smallest if not the smallest Rennerian of anybody on TastyBrew. |
