| My first homebrew... | The first was an extract kit from St Pat's of Austin that my brother gave me for my birthday. I reduced the water from 5 gal to 3 gal and added 1 1/2 lbs of molasses to kick up the alcohol content. Wish somebody would have told me to reduce the hop level. That kit was overhopped anyway.... Could well have come from Sierra Nevada. |
