Mini Interview
My first homebrew... It was a partial mash red ale, was delecious but have never been able to imulate it again! Perhaps was beginners luck? that or the combination of bad note taking and rudimentary techniques. Have one bottle left, perhaps i will save it for my death bed.
Homebrewing Story... I love my daughter and she loves to brew! She's only five but she gets excited when i can envolve her. She knows the aromas quite well and she's able to tell whats going on before she comes inside. But most of all id say the the #1 precious moment was at the Red Hook Brewery. All she said was "IT SMELLS LIKE HOPS". She's five, and allready a home brewer!
3 favorite beers 1) Dark wing red (my first home brew)
2) I cant recall its name nor brewery, but was the most delecious IPA ever! from CA
3) 120' IPA (dogfish head) The biggest beer i have enjoyed to date at 18%abv, very spicy and warming, tho a little sweet Was
Why I homebrew... Brewing has become more of a way of life and I think, for the most part i have hit my niche in a artisanship i will enjoy for many years to come. I don't think that i can completely pacify myself so far as to meet the levels of brewing I would like at home. It seems the process its self is rather more of an addiction, captivating in every degree, and constatnt learning experience. Inevitably, its a passion I would like to extend to a career movement but for now I will hone and expand my skillset as much as possible. With many thanks to all of you who answer my questions, no matter how mundane. "DOWN WITH MEDIOCRITY!"
