| My first homebrew... | Recipe from LHBS at the time in Davis, CA - not too exciting in retrospect, but at the time I was VERY excited |
| Homebrewing Story... | Once made a batch of "Burger Brau" that was intended to have the flavor of both a hamburger and a beer...the idea being that it would be the perfect compromise if you wanted both but didn't have the stomach space. It ended up tasting like soy sauce. I think the onions and liquid smoke put it over the edge.... After sitting around for a year a bottle was given to an unwelcome guest at a party by my then roommate, who described the foam it emitted as "bacteria that just couldn't wait to get out." |
