Description
A lightly hopped wheat beer with a hint of Orange. Low ABV, (mine was 3.8% vs the 6.6% estimated on this site) A perfect session beer, I made 17 Gallons for my Wedding, (2 batches at 6 Gal, and 1 batch at 5 Gal). It went over well with both ladies and gents as I had not 1 drop left to take home. The goal was to please Ale Hounds (like myself)... and those who drink Domestic Light Beer (like my dad).

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Very light bodied with a slight tropical aroma. A very subtle Orange finish. Refreshing and smooth with a golden appearance.

Yeast See Procedure below - Oberon Clone, California V, Belgian Style WLP575 (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation 7 Days, Plastic
Secondary Fermentation 14 Days, Glass

Procedure Mash 5 1/2 gallons at 155 degrees for 60 mins. Sparge with 1/2 gallon @ 160. Ferment at 68-74 degrees. I experimented with the yeast on this one. The Oberon clone was 4th Gen, California V was 2nd Gen, & the Belgian style was 1st Gen (from tube). I wanted something unique, but I'd just use Wyeast strain #1010 American Wheat.
