Awards Never entered it into a comp, but it disappears very quickly as soon as I get it on tap!
Boil Volume 6.40 gallons
Boil Time 60 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast White Labs WLP013 - London Ale (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Glass - 7 days @ 66 degrees.
Secondary Fermentation Glass or Corny keg - 14 days @ 64 degrees
Other Fermentation Cold aged for 10-21 days @ 55-58 degrees.
Procedure ~Single Infusion mash @ 158 degrees for one hour. ~Mash-out @ 168 for ten minutes. ~Vorlauf until runnings clear. ~Sparge @ 180 for 6.4 gallons in brew kettle. ~The London Ale yeast finishes dry, so mash slightly higher for more Dextrins. ~The yeast definitely needs help, so do a big starter.
