Description
A light, yet crisp, mildly sweet and bold yet suttle hop profile. A green tint is noted from the color profile which came from the grain and hops added within the recipe.

Boil Volume 3.00 gallons
Boil Time 75 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast Nottingham, windsor (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Plastic 14 days @ 65 Degrees F
Secondary Fermentation Plastic 14 days @ 40 Degrees F
Other Fermentation 6 Days to awake the yeast!! LOL
Procedure Steeped grain for 1 hour at 152 Degrees F, Then Step Mashed at 170 Degrees, Rinsed Grain with piping hot tap water until it ran clean. I live in Milwaukee, WI the city water is excellent for brewing so no minerals were needed to suppliment the water. After the Steeping and mashing the boil was for 75 minutes, 15 minutes in the hops were added including the Chinnook and Golding at 1 ounce each for 60 minutes. Then 15 minutes left 1 oz of the Glacier and Irish Moss 1 Tsp was added to the hop bag. After boil the wort was added to the carboy, plastic 5 gallon. The Nottingham Windsor Yeast was put into my yeast starter container with warm water and 1 table spoon corn sugur. After the wort had cooled to 85 degrees F, the yeast starter was pitched and 12 hours later she bubbled away. 2 weeks in the Primary at 65 degrees, 2 weeks in the secondary at 40 degrees and then back to 65 degrees for 1 week. Beer has nice finish with great clean and crisp malty and hoppy flavor profile. Beer is light golden green in color. Oddest color for such a pretty good beer!
