Has a nice amberish red color to it after you add the blue berries. Great flavor too.

Tasting Notes The sweetness from the malt comes through well and is balanced by a slight tart ness from the native Maine blueberries.

Procedure Crush 1 lbs 40L american crystal steep at 150-155 for 30 mins. Strain grains bring to a boil add 3 lbs wheat dry malt extract and 1 lbs light malt extract. add .25 oz saaz at 60 and 20 mins. Add .5 oz saaz at 2 mins. Turn off heat let stand for about 5-10 mins place in primary fermentor. After primary place in secondary with roughly one lbs of blue berries let set for two weeks. remove off blue berries place in g;lass for two more weeks. then bottle or keg.
