Recipe Details
Tasting Notes A very balanced, sweet and roasty Porter with hints of toffee. My first attempt I used American Two-Row and it just didn't have the malt complexity I was looking for - using MO and upping the Victory Malt really made a huge difference!

Boil Time 60 minutes
Batch Size 5.50 gallons
Yeast WLP004 (72% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Plastic Bucket, 10 days
Secondary Fermentation Glass Carboy, 10 days

Procedure Dough-in with 3 gallons for a mashed at 158 degrees for 60 minutes (temp a bit high, but resulted in a nice body and mouthfeel).
