Description
A basic, pale dortmunder not unlike the DAB pils that I enjoy so much!!

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes The Wyeast 2000 strain is a very good lager strain for Dortmunders - it's not unlike the old Chico ale strain used as a default yeast for APA's in that the Wy2000 is clean and allows the malt and hops to stand out in this crisp, refreshing lager. The carapils helps with mouthfeel so you don't have too much bitterness unbalancing your palate - this is a well regarded lager by my fellow club members and I plan on entering into local comps soon!
