Procedure I batch sparged my first attempt at this recipe, coming in with a lower efficiency than I would have liked (60%). The honey was originally in the recipe, with the intention of having some of the aroma and a tiny bit of flavor carry through. As it turns out, the extra 1.5lbs of honey manged to bump the OG up to a reasonable level for a robust porter. Shame though, the honey-ness wasn't as pronounced as I would have liked.
