Procedure Bring 4.2 gallons of water to 174.8 degrees F and Mash the grain bill (minus the sugar) for one hour in a converted rubbermaid Mash/Tun. Drain, keep at temp and add 3 gallons of water at 170 degrees F (Sparge), stir and mash for 15 minutes. Drain and add to previous run. Bring total to a boil and add 1 oz Northern Brewer, then add .5 oz of Hallertau Hersbrucker at 30 mins, and another .5 oz of Hallertau Hersbrucker at 15 mins. Add Brown Sugar at the end of the boil. Pitch one tube of WLP004 (at 70 degrees F) and ferment as stated.
