Description
Supposed to be a Bell's Oberon clone. Color and clarity right on the nose. Taste is great but not very close to Oberon. OG gravity was actually right on the nose for my initial calculation at 1.042, so ended up about 3.5%. Not sure why it's throwing up new numbers now with the same qty of fermentables on my initial calculation.

Recipe Details
Tasting Notes Nice and creamy, rich in wheat flavor with a very slight pleasant hint of coriander. Made this batch with bottle conditioning in mind for summer so we'll let 'er sit on the shelf and see how it tastes again in 4 months! Pretty good after 1 week of conditioning.

Procedure -Bring 2.5 gallons of water to 150 degrees. Steep grains for 45 minutes. -Turn heat back on, add 4 lbs. Dry Wheat Extract -Bring to boil, then add 4 AAU's Saaz hops -Boil 60 minutes, then add 1/8 tsp. of crushed corriander -Cool wort to 110 degrees, combine in fermenter w/ water up to 5.25 gallons. OG - 1.042 -Pitch yeast at 70-75 degrees -When fermentation is complete, dissolve 1 cup of Wheat Dry Malt Extract in 2 cups of water and stir in, then bottle. -FG - 1.016 (not as low as I wanted it. Was still fermenting in primary after 8 days but racked anyway which seemed to stop fermention. Should have left until it was done fermenting)
