Tasting Notes A full-bodied dark porter with slight chocolate/coffee notes, subdued by a great floral hop aroma.
Awards A little too greedy to let a bottle go :-)
Boil Volume 6.50 gallons
Boil Time 90 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast White Lab California V ~ 1 Liter Starter (75% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation Plastic Bucket~ 10 Days
Secondary Fermentation Glass Carboy~ 2 Months
Other Fermentation
Procedure Mashed in at 151F for 40 minutes then 158F for 20 minutes. Mash out at 165F for 15 minutes.
