Tasting Notes This one is cold conditioning in my cellar after being dryhopped for 4 weeks - sample was very smooth and drinkable at an early age!
Awards none - for personal consumption... actual recipe has been scaled down from 20 gallons of a no sparge brew session.
Boil Volume 7.00 gallons
Boil Time 90 minutes
Batch Size 5.00 gallons
Yeast Wyeast Scottish Ale (74% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation glass - aprox 30 days
Secondary Fermentation glass - aprox 35 days
Other Fermentation expect to bottle in 3 months
Procedure mashed at 145F for 90 mins, use first runnings only - kettle was filled when drainings = 1060, boil for 10 mins before first hop addition, dry hop for 2-3 weeks with 1.5 oz EKG pellets
