An attempt to clone Founder's Red's Rye, with my tweaks. A deep amber, very hoppy Rye PA.

Tasting Notes Delicious! Sharp lead-in to the peppery Rye tone; great bitterness-to-malt balance, with a ton of hop flavor and aroma.
Awards Best in my garage, two years running.
Boil Volume 7.00 gallons
Boil Time 90 minutes
Batch Size 5.50 gallons
Yeast Wyeast Pac Man (78% app. attenuation)
Primary Fermentation 14 days
Secondary Fermentation 7 days

Procedure Mash at 152 for 60minutes. Mash-out at 170 for 10 minutes. Sparge at 170. Pre-boil volume 7 gals. Primary: 14 days - dry-hop 2 oz Amarillo last 3-4 days. Secondary: cold-crash for 7 days .
