Subject: When to pitch-in yeast

I will be brewing back-to-back 12Gal batches to fill up a 30Gal fermenter.

Question is: Should I pitch the yeast when the fermenter is half filled at 12 Gals or at full capacity at 24 Gals?

My conical fermenter is glycol cooled so the temp is on target already. The 2 batches will be completed within 24 hours.

Pitch the yeast with the first 12 gal. Should be nicely active by the time you refill with the 2nd 12 gal.
