My OG didn't turn out as high as I wanted, I messed up and put DME into the fermenter but I didn't put enough.
Is it ok to add more DME after I have put the beer into the fermenter chamber with the Yeast in it already.
It has just been about an hour so far that I put it into the fermenter chamber.

Don't you have to boil DME for awhile to break down proteins?
Use it for yeast starters so why not in the fermenter after you boil it and cool it down.
How much are you thinking of adding?

I'd make a yeast starter w/o the yeast. Boil for ten minutes, cool it and dump it in.

But you have to compensate for your overall volume eh?

Don't know how to calculate that.

So yeah, what Burp said.

Added more DME last night , boiled first. It is fermenting very nicely this morning.
I messed up and didn't read the scale correctly at first. (dumb mistake).
thank you for the replies.
