I just cracked a rye dubbel that is among a few bottles that are obviously infected. Although the non infected ones are good, this reminded me of the rodenbach vintage i had last night...amazing. i think I may have failed to properly sanitize the bottles that formerly housed a tripel w roselare. If this is the case i may have 12 bottles of this great brew. For once im wishing the whole batch were infected.

I would if i could tell which are which. I bottled a quad at the same time and had an infected one as well...it actually detracted from the character in this case...drowned out the chocolate. I think i'll make a dubbel this year and add roselare and oak chips to the secondary.
