Hi Everyone.
Sorry I dropped off the face of the earth.
I have had a lengthy bout of illness.
Lyme disease is a real bitch.
Really unable to accomplish much, logging on was a big effort, not to mention homebrewing.
I am excited to be back, and talking brewing.

that sucks. I know- I had it.
I hope you caught it early.
Check out "under our skin" - supposed to be a good documentary. I've been meaning to watch it.
And remember, lyme is just one disease those ticks carry. Lots of times, you get infected with 2 or 3 things and those "medical professionals" only know of and treat lyme for the most part. Get a specialist if you don't get better.

Hey Comrades, thx for the nice words. thx Bruce.
Red: I'll be sure to input plenty of my "opinions" lol
bb: I wanted to tell you... I finally got a tractor. Not sure I could live without it now. I think I can sling some brew equipment around with it. Even full.
Bry, thx for the tip. I been worrying about the docs handling of this, but right about now I'm feeling about 100 %.... so we'll see...
I'll check out that documentary.

Tractor???
We need more info and pictures, please. I'm working on mine right now. Starter solenoid went out again. New part is expected in the mail today. Then comes the fun - installing it.

Welcome back Tully! If you want to heal yourself, follow this stuff: http://www.doctoryourself.com/lyme.html
Lots of good info there and it works.
anytime someone says tractor all I can think of is, 'she thinks my tractors sexy!'

Welcom back my friend. Glad you're better. That sounds awful. Celebrate your health with a homebrewed batch. You could call it "Limey".

LOL. I'm more concerned with how that one would taste?!? Not sure I could reach the bottom of a Limey! uugh. Sounds like a bud lime.

I brewed a lime lager long before bud lime and the like. It was nice.
You add lime to a good beer, it's a good beer. You add lime to a bud, and it's still a bud.

I actually like CAPs with lime in them, especially in the summer.

I added kafir leaves to a brew once... it was ok, I think I needed to add more...

Yeah now bud has a limearita or something like that. Its like an 8% beer-like margarita. I hear it's not terrible but I doubt I'll find out for myself. I could see lime complimenting some of the NZ hop varities that already have subtle lime flavors.

hehe, they had a display of that crap at the register of Bevmo, the cashier caught me looking at it and asked me if I'd tried it yet... I told him the only way I'd try it is if he gave it to me... he laughed and said, guess you're not going to try it today!

I like Margaritas, and I've even had a "beerarita" or whatever its called where you add a mexican lager with margarita mix. It was pretty good but I like standard tequila margaritas better. And beer.

I'll try it if someone offers it to me but I ain't paying for that! and besides, you don't mix beer with a margarita!

Budweiser does. Next they'll have rum and coke beers... somehow.
