Was given a jar of this over the weekend. It was used for wine, but contains di-ammonium phosphate, yeast hulls, magnesium sulphate and vitamin B complex. Any reason this can't be used with beer yeast? Possibly with starters?

Sounds good to me. I've used dap and then a blend of the others. I'm sure it'll be fine.
I usually put a little into my starters since I have it on hand. We usually toss some into our bigger beers, too.

That's what I was thinking too. I've got 4 ounces of it and they recommend about 1/2 teaspoon per gallon. This should be a lifetime supply for me.

I put maybe 1/8 teaspoon in a 800mL starter.
I'm using the wyeast blend right now.
I have straight DAP free from a local brewpub, too.
