I bought one of these from Lowes the other day for a little over $5. It has a 1/2" Male NPT fitting on the end which I fitted with a hose and adapter to my sink faucet. It adjusts up to 30" in length and for a full 360 degree spray pattern. This allows me to insert it into a keg or carboy, move it up and down, and thoroughly rinse the sides.
Not quite as good as the little SS 360 degree rotating balls, but a WHOLE LOT cheaper.
The one thing that would make it better would be a pushbutton flow control valve, but I can't seem to find one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

BB,
Would a valve like this work:
http://www.lowes.com/pd_36949-306-AS1GF_4294720428__?productId=1084975&Ns=p_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&pl=1¤tURL=%3FNs%3Dp_product_qty_sales_dollar|1&facetInfo=
Not a push button, but should still allow for controlling the flow rate

Something like this might do the trick:

Jonathon, that would work, but I am wanting to keep it to one hand operation. I'm also not trying to control the rate, because I want as much water flow as possible.
Charlie, that looks like a winner. I going to look and see if I can get one locally? They want about as much to ship it as the thing cost.
Thanks, guys, I appreciate the help.

Ah, I see what you were looking for, for some reason I was just thinking a cut-off valve. But now that I see that picture, it completely makes sense. Its one of the air blow gun type valves, but for water...

That's exactly what I thought when I saw the picture. An air hose valve might work if it doesn't restrict the flow too much.

Reporting back, I never found a push button control that I thought would work well, but I have to say this spray head on a wand is very nice for rinsing Sankes and cornies. When it's opened up for a 360 degree spray it really puts out a lot of water. Moving it up and down almost guarantees that you hit the walls of what you're cleaning in every place. Ideally, the vessel should be upside down and I'm working on something to do that while it's being held over my sink.
Just don't pull it out of the vessel until you turn off the water.
