Hi all...
The American farmhouse blend from WLP is on sale in my LHS..never one to dodge a challenge Im thinking "why not"..does anybody have a good recipe or a good description of the style..im thinking, Saison whit a different yeast..right ??..

yep
i like a touch of rye (malt or even flaked for more body) in my farmhouse beers. a few friends have experimented w/ buckwheat too with good results. last one i did used saphir hops and i thought they came across nicely balanced.

That was my first choice when doing my last saison. unfortunately, it wasn't available.
