If I drop a 10.35 light lager on my 1035 yeast cake will it require
a blowoff tube regular pail

you will need an explosion proof cabinet (just kidding)
just use a blow off tube on all your brews and ditch the airlock

Except for my brother in law's GI system after 2 giant burritos there is NO situation that is as impressive in producing gas (and therefore beer) than fermenting on a cake even if 3 weeks old so allow lots of head room
