Hey Hopheaded, I made just this beer you are talking about, and it is in a corny right now. Turned out fricken awesome. Only thing I did different was I mashed it overnight because it fit my schedule better. Since I did this, it was pretty fermentable, and got down to 1.008. Dry but delicious. Don't hesitate to try this one!

I made Stone IPA recipe, extract version, and it's great. Which reminds me, I need to make more of it before I run out on this keg.

the article says WLP002 English Ale yeast which is a great yeast but the last two "stone clones" my brew club made were with WLP007 Dry English Ale Yeast and I really loved the difference. Just a suggestion to try.

Tom, this has been noted in the past too.... The Stone site suggests a higher attenuation for their IPA than does White Labs WLP002. It's been noted that WLP007 is very similar to WLP002 yet it has the attenuation mentioned on Stones site. The info may hav been updated since that last round of posts so my notes could be a tad off.

Uh, yeah, great link! I was at the brewery a few months back and tried their Double Dry Hopped IPA (soooo good).
