For those who have access to DFH, Palo Santo Marron is VERY good. It's the reason I'm PUI, but as my first 'beer' of the night, it was heavenly. I have a Midas Touch and another weirdish DFH that was brought to me by my superb neighbor; I can't wait to try them now.
For those who have tried Palo Santo Marron; how would you describe it? I want to say it's like an oaked quad or something; it's a wood-aged beer, but not oak, but the wood flavor is really nice and right in balance with the beer. I can't tell when my bottle was packaged, but even though I loved it at whatever age it is, I think that it might really come together with another year under it's belt. It's difficult to say.
In any case, I highly recommend Palo Santo Marron. Ignoring whatever crazy thing DFH says on the label, it's not insanely obscure, just crazy good.

Really looking forward to picking some of this up - sounds interesting and a better example of their 'experiments' from the sounds of it. Will definitely look for some soon.
There's a great video on the Dogfish Head site showing the construction of the massive PSM fermenting vessels. Very impressive.
