Here's how we roll brothers and sisters:
Mini Mash at @ 152-154deg:
5.5lb - American Two-Row Pale
1.0lb - American Wheat Malt
2.0 Light Dry Malt Extract
1.5 (5.0AA) Willamette Whole - 60min
.5 Willamette - 10
Cooled to 66 deg. and pitched 1.75 liters (@18 hrs) WLP008 East Coast Ale
Measured OG - 5.4
Fermentation temp should stay right around 66deg.
This one is straight-up and going straight down. Should be ready to drink in the early part of August..... Perfect!

Well, yeah... At least I didn't call it "Cheap and Easy" Blond
I figured for a Fourth of July (ish) brewing day I would do something as all American as I could. American beer style from American malts and American "Brewer Patriot" style yeast.
I listened to The Jamil Show the entire time I was brewing. The Blonde Ale show is damn funny!! Jamil was suffering bad.....
http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/jamil.php - June 04, 2007 - Blonde Ale
Pitching almost two liters of yeast really makes a difference. My beer is really going and I only pitched the yeast last night.

Just so we don't get confused, "blond" is the masculine form, "blonde" the feminine.

I did not know that! I thought the two spellings were interchangeable.

The French use "blond" for males and "blonde" for females. Now you know why it doesn't make any sense.

And that proves what? That they speak a different language? So do Norwegians....now, if ya wanna talk about something that makes no sense, let's discuss why the French like Jerry Lewis....
